I'm so sick yesterday that it nearly hampered my study for today's test. It should be my second flu bug attack ever since Sar period. My nose was like a running tap and can you believe i used up a roll of Scott toilet paper for that in one night? It doesn't help when the weather was still stifling hot during the night, and i have to use on my new Sona table fan which actually added on to my problem. I pressed down the button for lowest wind strength but it 'ruffles' my entire room so badly that my mum passing by couldn't resist asking me why am i using the strongest strength. Damn powerful! Imagine on my small desk, all my calculus notes aren't binded, a jumbo sized calculus textbook flipped open, pieces of rough papers used and crashed, and toilet paper used and unused trailing around. (Yah, I'm quite an unorganised person these days)
Once the fan blowed in my direction, the papers, the pages, and toilet paper would all be flying to one extreme side. PLUS my nose also sneezed an average of once every 3 minute. So while my sleepy mind is trying to focus on solving problem, I was also busy remembering to put the paperweight on the stuffs everytime i put it back after use and draining my running nose.
Miraculously, i last till 4am and woke up with a sore throat at 8am this morning. And I was taught the same lesson over and over again: Never do last minute study. Somehow it never goes into my mind again. The test questions wasn't too difficult but i could have done better if i have more time to read somemore chapter. Sian ah. Gonna get the lowest mark among my clique AGAIN!!!
After the test, mum and papa fetched me and instead of home which i longed to, we went to sungnei tengkuh(i forget the actual road name). Why that place? Herblogy is the hobby that my parents are currently obessed with. Used to be fishing last year but then my mum hurted her knee, so they stopped fishing for awhile. (However, their interests rekindle after seeing so many buckets of lobsters caught along a seaside which we passed by today) During weekday when dad's not working, they went to all sorts of rural areas such as those mini forest standing beside those bungalow, to look for certain type of grasses (read: herbs). I gota respect tthem for having immense patience to spot the kind of plant they looking in the humogous patch of greenry. Some of their searches went on for weeks.
Frankly speaking, I quite enjoy these trips with them because i get to see one side of Singapore that we don't often see. The feelings are like those felt in oversea travelling. The two sides of the road will be covered by tall grasses, occasionally, you see a hen leading its chicken along. And for once, you won't be able to caught sight of concrete jungle which sometimes is a relief from the 'city' stress.
As our car drove slowly along the endless stretch of industrial buildings, we kept a lookout for a kind of fruit. Strangely, this type of plant only grows longside a drain. That makes it hard to pluck off its fruits. We spent the entire late afternoon to look for one. And in between, we saw a badly-decomposed dog's carcass lying near our target. So suay! Finally found one perfect tree when we stop by the roadside and try to pluck as many fruits within our reach until dad was complaining that lotsa of huge vehicle were heading our way and we are obstructing the traffic. IMO, the greeny fruit looks strange!
Heard that my fourth aunt's family ate the food and their skins glows. An amazing transformation. My 4th uncle said that his skin wrinkled less and look younger as before. The fruit itself got a pungent smell so you cannot directly eat it. You have to mix in with other fruit juices to cover up the smell. I haven't get to drink it yet. Maybe will update on it later when i get hold of this seemingly magical drink.

The fruits were originally lime green and cute looking but look like shit after oxidising. My mum has mixed the juices with soursop juices so in the end, i can only sense the extra citrus elements. Hope it does really improve my skin.
