I seldom have the chance to play pool. My usual group of friends don't like to frequent such places. The previous time which is also my first, I played was with a huge bunch of people from my college and I never really strike the balls much. The cue either went wayward or hit backward when an unfortunate guy was standing behind. Plus, with so many people around, i think i only got hold of the cue twice. Today is my second try at the game. No self-humilating act. Pretty good, think I get hooked on it. And I glad bj has finally found a billard kakis. That's me. Anyway, we spent 2 hours to finish up 3 games. See how noobie we are.

Speaking of BJ, i got to bow to her frankness and gut. I think i have to address her as Boss. Take for example, while we were at the Party World @ Orchard, the bill totals up to be somehow unreasonably higher. BJ approached the servicing boy without hesitation when he came to knock on our door to collect payment. She was so gunho while arguing about the billing difference. The guy relented and charged us based on a cheaper plan. (Hush hush...I don't think I wanna go to that place with BJ again because I scared that guy might recognise her and leak some saliva into our drinks).

And that's still not it. We were walking outside the new OG@orchard while we decided to have a quick snack of pizza after seeing the $1.90 offer on some booth. Only then at the counter, we realised there's a small print indicating we must get a drink in order to have that offer. We checked out the beverages' price and "oh gosh", what i saw was all above $3. And guess what, BJ straightaway told the girl-behind-the-counter that 'it's not worth it' and 'we don't want drink anymore'. I was like 'OMG, that's what my mum will usually do!' Did she say something like 'bian ren'? (meaning: it's a bluff) I don't remember. (arg! my dory's memory again) Anyway, she somehow managed to get another counter guy to let us have the pizza at a lower price. Wow! Amazed. If she is my mum's daughter, my mum will definitely love her to bits. I simply love her guts. Should learn from her. That way, we consumers won't act like a baka and get bullied.

I have tried Softnyx's Magic Punk just now. What's a disappointment. It's a 2 players game and works abit like teris but with nicer graphic. I don't play such brick games often and i thought i would lose to my opponent. Surprisely I won. Somehow, I'm not going to play that again. GB still rules.
